ICOI’s Civic Engagement presents
A Stone Throw Away: Famine, Food, Freedom and the Struggle to Survive
🗓 Sunday, November 9, 2025 | 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM
📍 5520 Trabuco Rd, Irvine, CA 92620
Building 5520, 2nd Floor, Multipurpose Room 100
Join us for a powerful and emotional talk with Lt. Col. Ret. Anthony Aguilar, a former U.S. Army Special Forces officer, and the first whistleblower to expose the atrocities committed by the Gaza Humanitarian Foundation (GHF).
Expecting to help Palestinians, Aguilar traveled to Gaza as part of the GHF mission and was horrified by what he witnessed firsthand.
Hear Aguilar’s gut-wrenching testimony of forced famine, displacement, and genocide masquerading as aid, as he shares the story of Amir, a child victim of aid distribution centers in Gaza. Aguilar will also offer his insights on strategies for moving forward as a community in light of the current political climate.
🎙 Sign up here! http://icoi.net/aguilar. This event is FREE to attend.
