A Weekend Celebrating the Beloved
The Majlis invites the community to join them for their annual retreat in the beautiful surroundings of Big Bear Lake. The theme this year is celebrating our beloved Prophet Muhammad ﷺ

The YMCA Santa Monica Big Bear is in the beautiful setting of Big Bear Lake. We hope you will join us this year for our annual Majlis Retreat.
If you plan on attending please note the following:
The YMCA is a campsite and has dorms as well as cabins. If you plan to stay at the campsite you will have to share a room with others.
Please note that space permitting no one will be turned away due to lack of funds. Please contact info@themajlis.us if you would like to attend but need financial assistance.
Upon registering you will be asked, “Would you like to give an additional donation?” Should you choose to donate, these donations will be used towards those in need of financial assistance for the retreat.
Registration is closed on October 9.
Partial refunds will be available after October 9th for extreme circumstances only, or tickets may be donated to those on the waiting list.
All meals will be halal.
A parent must accompany children under the age of 18.

Adult Program with Personal Tent

Includes all lectures, meals, and activities during the retreat. Bring your own tent to the YMCA campsite. Please note that we will not be able to accommodate indoor lodging in the event of snow or rain for those who purchase these tickets.

Cabin reservations are available for groups of 4-12. Individual tickets for the retreat with lodging must be purchased for each person in the group in order to reserve a cabin. Only 1 cabin reservation per group is needed.
