I am honored to serve on the board because I believe in the power of community service and compassion. ISCSC is an umbrella organization that unites and caters all Masajids and Islamic institutions in Southern CA.

We strive to:

  • Facilitate Collaboration and Resource Sharing among our the community organization

  • Amplifying our Collective Voice & Advocate

  • Strengthen the SoCal Muslim Community

My Fundraising Goal: $2,000

Your contribution will help us continue and strengthen these three vital projects, allowing us to serve our community with greater impact and compassion.

  1.  Prison Outreach Program (POP): During this Ramadan alone, Shura visited 9 prisons and 2 ICE detention centers, traveling over 900 miles from Fresno to San Diego and distributing 510 boxes of dates. Year-round, we serve incarcerated Muslims by providing Qurans, Islamic literature, kufis, hijabs, and prayer mats.
  2. Muslim Speaker Network (MSN): Our certified speakers deliver interactive presentations on Islam in public schools and facilitate mosque visits for university and college students, building understanding and dialogue.
  3. The Association of Islamic Schools: Shura supports full-time and weekend Islamic school teachers through training, collaboration, and an annual appreciation banquet to strengthen Islamic education.
